The revival of the National water polo center ("Národné centrum vodného póla"), funded by a social bank, has saved the longstanding successful tradition of water polo not only in the town of Nováky.

The center provides high-quality training, accommodation, and catering services for clubs from all over the world, but above all, it serves as the home base for teams of all age categories of the Water polo club Nováky — the most successful water polo club in Slovakia.
