Revitalization of the Patrónka Site: A Modern Social and Cultural Hub
About the Project and its Vision:
Through our investment (realized via SIIC Fund and SmartFish), we are transforming the decaying industrial site of Bratislava’s Patrónka into a vibrant 21st-century urban space. In close cooperation with the Bratislava Self-Governing Region (BSK), we are executing a comprehensive revitalization aimed at turning neglected industrial heritage into a modern center that unites culture, education, and social inclusion.
Key Investment Pillars and Social Impact:
Preserving Industrial Heritage: We protect and functionally restore devastated historical landmarks. By transforming an aesthetically degraded area into a functional site with an emphasis on sustainable architecture and greenery, we are eliminating the location’s modernization debt and creating an attractive public space.
Inclusive Community and Breaking Down Barriers: We are building a unique ecosystem that naturally connects diverse groups. The site is becoming a meeting point for students (CIS, School of Applied Arts), clients of the Rosa Social Services Center and the Associated School, as well as the general public, actively overcoming mental and social barriers in society.
Talent Development and Modern Education: We provide a foundation for the creativity of children and youth. We support both professionals and the public in the fields of green architecture, design, and community development. The project includes multifunctional spaces for cultural events, sports facilities, and recreational zones.
Contribution to the Region: The project brings measurable value not only by preserving the city's historical identity but, above all, by creating a safe and inspiring environment. This investment provides a new impulse for the development of the creative potential of the entire region and significantly improves the quality of life for residents and visitors of Bratislava.
